Mike Millington has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Mike has held various roles in companies such as Shearwater GeoServices, INEOS, Shell, BG Group, QGC, and PGS. Mike'smost recent position was as the Vice President Marine OBS Sales at Shearwater GeoServices. Mike also served as the Business Development Manager and Special Projects Manager at the same company. Prior to that, Mike worked as the Head of Geophysical Operations at INEOS. Mike held a leading role in the integration of BG Group into Shell as the Shell BG Upstream Integration Manager. Mike also worked as the Development Manager at BG Group and QGC, where they played a crucial role in securing future growth and designing and executing exploration and development programs. Earlier in their career, Mike served as the Seismic Operations Manager at BG Group and Chief Geophysicist at PGS.
Mike Millington completed their Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Astronomy from The University of Sheffield in 1992. Mike then pursued a Master's Degree in Exploration Geophysics from Imperial College London, which they completed in 1993.
