Karyn Ooi

Karyn Ooi is an accomplished product owner with extensive experience in technology and operations. Currently at Fresha since October 2021, Karyn has previously held the role of product owner at Revolut from September 2018 to September 2021, where responsibilities included leading a cross-functional team and driving product strategy across multiple domains. Earlier experience includes serving as the first female operations manager at Revolut, where Karyn implemented process improvements to optimize customer verification. Additionally, Karyn worked at Uber as an operations associate, utilizing SQL for driver engagement analysis and leading a nationwide campaign in Malaysia to enhance driver experience. Karyn began a career as a petroleum economist at PETRONAS, focusing on economic evaluations of oil and gas projects. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an American Degree Transfer Program in Chemical Engineering from INTI International University.
