Rose Metzler has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Rose currently works at Sheetak Inc. as a Lead Systems Engineer and previously worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the same company. Prior to that, they worked as an R&D Engineer at TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company. Their responsibilities included developing cooling solutions for medium voltage drives while taking into account cost, performance, and UL listing. Rose also worked as a Research Engineer at Heat Transfer Research, Inc., where they researched heat transfer, pressure drop, and flow visualization in heat exchangers and presented their findings to clients. Rose started their career as a Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they conducted research on two-phase flow in micro-channels and developed a low-temperature thermal management system for high-power electronic systems. As a Teaching Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, they taught undergraduate students.
Rose Metzler received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2007 and their Master of Science degree in the same field from the same institute in 2009. Rose obtained their Professional Engineer certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in June 2018.
