Maxine Gregory

Maxine Gregory is a Principal Research Fellow at Sheffield Hallam University since June 2003, contributing to research, evaluation, and collaboration. Maxine is the Founder and Co-Director of both the Active Travel Research Group and the Outdoor Recreation Research Group (ORRG), focusing on behavior change, sustainable transport, and supporting the outdoor sector through interdisciplinary research. Additionally, Maxine has held roles as Secretary and Vice-Chair of the European Network of Outdoor Sports since November 2015. Previous experience includes serving as National League Officer/Manager for England Basketball and Account Manager for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Maxine holds a BSc in Recreation Management and an MSc with distinction in Research Methods from Sheffield Hallam University.
