Tony Chang

Tony Chang has a diverse work experience in the field of industrial engineering and operations. Tony is currently the Director of Industrial Engineering at SHEIN Distribution Corporation since 2024. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Zulily, where they led capital engineering projects and developed office/warehouse designs. Tony also served as the Manager of Network and Industrial Engineering at Shopify, where they managed a team and designed new warehouse layouts. At Nordstrom, they worked as a Senior Industrial Engineer, responsible for developing global design standard specifications for warehouses. Before that, Tony held various roles at Amazon, including Manufacturing Engineer, Product Manager, and Innovation & Design Engineer, where they worked on projects related to manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillment. Tony began their career at Mary Kay Inc., where they worked as a Senior Operations Industrial Engineer and Senior Engineer, among other roles, responsible for planning and coordinating capital projects and implementing improvement strategies.

Tony Chang earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington from 2003 to 2007. Tony then obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Southern Methodist University from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, in 2014, they received a Certificate of Completion in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.
