Alice Byron has a strong background in fundraising and communications. Alice currently holds the role of Interim Director of Fundraising and Communications at ShelterBox since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of UK Giving and Supporter Engagement at ShelterBox from April 2021. Alice also worked at Send a Cow as the Head of Community Development and Head of Community and Events from September 2015 to January 2020. Alice has previous experience at organizations such as Oxfam, National Autistic Society, Crisis, and MS Society.
Alice Byron attended the University of York from 2001 to 2004, where they pursued their degree in History. Alice successfully completed their Bachelor of Arts Honors degree with a 2:1 classification.

ShelterBox provides emergency shelter and vital supplies to support communities around the world overwhelmed by disaster and humanitarian crisis. Since we began in 2000, we have responded to earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, landslides, typhoons and conflict, delivering emergency humanitarian aid to communities in need. Simply put, if there are families in need of emergency shelter, we will do everything we can to help them. Our vision A world in which all people displaced by disasters and humanitarian crises are rapidly provided with emergency shelter and vital aid, which will help rebuild their communities and lives.
