Fiona Turner is an experienced fundraising and events professional with a strong background in community engagement and volunteer support. Currently serving as the Rotary Engagement Officer at ShelterBox since May 2022, Fiona has previously held roles including Community Fundraiser at Marie Curie UK from March 2016 to May 2022, and Community Fundraising Manager at NSPCC from December 2012 to March 2016, where responsibilities included networking with supporters and managing volunteer fundraising initiatives. Earlier positions include Events & Community Coordinator at South Bucks Hospice from June 2008 to November 2012, and Conference & Events Manager at Bucks New University from September 2000 to July 2007. Fiona holds an education from St Andrews Girls School in Bedford.

ShelterBox provides emergency shelter and vital supplies to support communities around the world overwhelmed by disaster and humanitarian crisis. Since we began in 2000, we have responded to earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, landslides, typhoons and conflict, delivering emergency humanitarian aid to communities in need. Simply put, if there are families in need of emergency shelter, we will do everything we can to help them.
