Sharon St.Clair Simon, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CNE, serves as the Director of the FNP Program and Associate Professor at Shenandoah University since August 2018. In addition to academic responsibilities, Sharon is a Family Nurse Practitioner at National Spine & Pain Centers, providing comprehensive management of orthopedic and neurologic conditions. Previous roles include Adjunct Faculty at Georgetown University and Family Nurse Practitioner and Practice Manager at a now-closed Generations Family Practice, where financial turnaround was achieved. Sharon holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from The Ohio State University and is pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With a robust background in nursing and healthcare management including significant leadership roles at the Department of Defense and Virginia Hospital Center, Sharon exemplifies dedication to clinical education and patient care.
