Charles Hodge

Mr. “Charlie” Hodge has lived in Spartanburg, South Carolina most of his life and has been in active law practice for over forty-one years. Charlie graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in Columbia, South Carolina and his undergraduate degree is in Journalism. He is a partner at Hodge & Langley Law Firm in Spartanburg, South Carolina serving every level of South Carolina’s court system, served in areas in the state of North Carolina, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Hodge’s skill and integrity in practice have been recognized by his peers as indicated by his AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available to any individual lawyer.

Mr. Hodge has been active on numerous boards including the Coastal Carolina Board of Trustees Board Chair, USC-Upstate Foundation, Spartanburg Soup Kitchen, The Haven, (local chapter) American Red Cross, and many others.

Mr. Hodge is the author of “Accident v. Occupational Disease,” SCTLA Bulletin, July/August 1987 and Trial Magazine, June 1988; and “Labyrinthine Concussion in Motor Vehicle Accidents,” Torts and Insurance Practice Report, January 1991.

Mr. Hodge is an airline transport-rated pilot and enjoys golf, tennis, and motorsports. He is married to Jakie Allen Hodge and they have five children and seven grandchildren.
