Cody Cerny currently serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors at Shields and Stripes since January 2023, following a consultancy role at Insigniam from November 2021 to May 2025, where the focus was on driving impactful leadership amidst complex challenges. Prior to these positions, Cody was the Chief Operating Officer at a confidential organization from February 2016 to September 2021, overseeing strategy and staff management for a high-performance environment. Cody's military career includes significant leadership roles as Pararescue Helicopter Team Leader in the USAF 57 Rescue Squadron and Lead Medic on a Special Tactics Team, accumulating over nine years of combat search and rescue experience. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Personal Recovery and an Associate of Arts in Psychology, supplemented by management training from Dale Carnegie.

Shields & Stripes
The Shields & Stripes program is a 3 month, whole-person optimization program that is restoring the lives of veterans and first responders. By partnering our expert team with an EXOS Performance facility, we host Shields & Stripes Athletes for 1 month and comprehensively address the physical and mental aspects of trauma. We do this by utilizing a variety of therapies including: Strength and Conditioning Dietician Consultation Meals made on-site Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Psych Therapy Massage Group Therapy Yoga Ice Therapy Upon returning home, we will follow up with 2 months of virtual care to ensure our concepts are solidified in their everyday lives and have a long-lasting impact on their quality of life and relationships.
