Jaime Romero

Jaime Romero is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in data analysis and algorithm development, particularly in the insurance sector. As a Tech Lead Data Scientist at Shift Technology since September 2018, Jaime has focused on implementing and testing fraud detection mechanisms. Prior to this, Jaime held positions as a Data Science Intern at Atos, where research involved predictive modeling and deep learning techniques, and as a Research Intern at Xerox Research Centre Europe, focusing on mining scientific research papers. Additionally, Jaime has experience as an Internal Auditor at Maersk Drilling and has previously taught English. Jaime holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Data Science from Grenoble INP - UGA and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín.
