David Mkrtchian

David Mkrtchian currently serves as Vice President of Research at Shift5 since March 2024. Previously, David held multiple leadership roles at Tanium from December 2018 to December 2023, including Head of Portfolio Strategy, Chief of Staff, and Director of Special Projects. Prior experience includes consulting at The Boston Consulting Group from June 2015 to December 2018, focusing on corporate strategy and financial optimization for enterprise tech. David has collaborated with the World Economic Forum on cybersecurity governance, conducted research at the Central Bank of Armenia, and supported economic analysis at the White House's Council of Economic Advisers. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
