Madison Hannapel

Madison Hannapel has a diverse work experience. Madison currently works at Eastern Michigan University as a Paid Research Assistant, where they are responsible for recruiting participants and administering research procedures to study Emotion Regulation in early childhood. Prior to this, Madison worked as a Sales Associate at Shinola, where they built lasting relationships with customers and helped them find products to match their desired look and lifestyle. Madison also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Miami University, where they conducted observational coding and statistical analysis tasks and presented poster projects at National Conferences. Madison has also worked as a COVID-19 Patient Coordinator and Sterilization Technician at Hannapel Pellillo Orthodontics, where they developed skills in teamwork, stress management, and dealing with upset parents and patients. Madison worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Thornapple Manor and completed a Practicum at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where they gained experience in diagnostic interviews, psychological evaluations, and psychological treatments for children with developmental disabilities. Additionally, Madison worked as a Hostess at Bay Pointe Inn.

Madison Hannapel began their education at Miami University in 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Neuroscience. They concluded their undergraduate studies in 2021. Following this, Madison enrolled at Eastern Michigan University in 2021 to pursue a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. Their expected graduation date is in 2023.
