Evangeline George

Evangeline George possesses extensive experience in corporate communications and public affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Shipt since September 2020. Previous roles at Shipt include Senior Director and Director of Business Communications and Public Affairs. Prior to joining Shipt, George worked at Uber as the Head of Southeast Communications from June 2016 to May 2020. A significant part of George's career was spent in the U.S. House of Representatives, where various positions included Deputy Communications Director and Press Secretary for House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi. Additionally, George served as Communications Director for Sean Patrick Maloney's congressional campaign in 2012. George holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Georgia.
