Anders Rasmussen, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in civil engineering and water resources. Currently serving as Regional Principal at SHN Engineers & Geologists, Inc. since January 2012, Anders has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor for the Civil Engineering Senior Project course at the Oregon Institute of Technology from January 2012 to March 2013. Prior to these roles, Anders worked as a Civil Engineer at HDR from September 1995 to December 2011, specializing in water resources engineering. Anders holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of the Pacific.

Private ownership allows us to make long-term plans and investments in the company, without the pressure of creating short-term gains. SHN began as Selvage and Heber in 1979, quickly became Selvage, Heber & Nelson, and is now known as SHN Engineers & Geologists. Many of our original clients are still with us today, and we are proud of their friendship and trust.
