Paul Clifton

Paul Clifton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical writing and user experience design. Currently serving as the Owner and Technical Writer at DevEx LLC since April 2023, Paul has also held the position of Senior Technical Writer at Shoap Technical Services since May 2006. Notably, Paul was a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2008 to August 2016, where leadership of graduate and undergraduate research teams, along with user experience research and design, was a primary focus. Additionally, Paul gained experience as a User Experience Designer at Intel Corporation during the summer of 2012, where the development of rapid prototypes and research in technology applications for vehicles were key contributions. Academically, Paul earned a Ph.D. in Digital Media with a focus on Interaction and User Experience Design from Georgia Institute of Technology (2010-2016), as well as a Master's degree in Digital Media (2008-2010) and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (2001-2005) from the same institution.
