Mike Barnlund is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in the financial services and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Product Lead at Shopify since June 2021, Mike previously held various leadership roles at ATB Financial from November 2015 to June 2021, including Managing Director of Product, where responsibility encompassed a diverse product portfolio such as Brightside, ATB Prosper, and ATB BoostR. Prior to ATB, Mike was Vice President of Product Innovation at Chaordix, contributing to a B2B2C crowdsourcing platform with notable clients. Additional experience includes roles at Agilabs Software and the Language Technology Centre, complemented by a solid educational background in Computer Science from Brandon University and Computer Systems Technology from Assiniboine College.
