Victor Zhao

Victor Zhao has a diverse and extensive work experience. Victor currently holds the role of VP of OD, HR & Admin at ShopperPlus since November 2021. Previously, they were the Vice President of HR & Admin at Aibee Inc. from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director, HR Strategy Advisor at Canada China Angel Alliance (CCAA) from 2017 to 2019. Victor also served as a Senior Human Resources Consultant at LinHR Consulting Inc. from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, Victor has held senior HR positions at Alibaba.com, Baidu, Inc., Motorola China, and Huawei Technologies. Their roles at these companies included Senior HR Director, Senior HR Manager/HRBP, Staffing Manager, Total Rewards Manager, and HRBP/Staffing Manager for the Marketing & Sales team of the Enterprise Business Group. Victor received a Gold Medal Award for individual outstanding performance during their time at Huawei Technologies.

Victor Zhao completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Renmin University of China between 1997 and 2001. Victor later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Victor Zhao has obtained certifications such as the Certified Compensation Professional - Canada from WorldatWork in June 2021. Victor has also passed the CFA Level I examination, and holds certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) from WorldatWork.
