Doris B. Cohen

Doris B. Cohen has extensive experience in data analytics and crime analysis. Doris B. started their career as a Crime Analyst at the City of Palo Alto in 1996 and later transitioned to a similar role at the City of East Palo Alto. Doris B. then moved on to roles at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship as an Executive Assistant before joining SoundThinking (formerly ShotSpotter) in various positions, ultimately becoming VP of Data & Analytics. Throughout their career, Doris has demonstrated a strong focus on utilizing data to inform decision-making and drive success in crime prevention and analysis.

Doris B. Cohen completed their Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco after graduating from Woodside High School. Doris B. then pursued a Master of Science in Emergency Services Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and also received a certification in Crime and Intelligence Analysis from California State University-Sacramento. Doris furthered their education by obtaining a Data Analytics Certification from UC Berkeley Extension and is currently working towards earning a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change & Leadership from USC Rossier School of Education.
