Khoa Bui is a Systems Engineer at SoundThinking (formerly ShotSpotter) since June 2019, specializing in the deployment and troubleshooting of software updates for gunshot detection sensors using Python, Perl, and Shell scripts in a Linux environment. Khoa also develops web applications with Python, Plotly, and Dash to assist engineering teams in analyzing gunshot incidents and sensor behaviors. Previously, Khoa worked as an Assistant Engineer at Quanta Computer USA, Inc. and Canary Communications, gaining experience in debugging servers and circuit board testing. Khoa is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a Certificate in AI/Machine Learning Engineering from Springboard, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from San José State University.
