Bruce Schlitt CPA, CGA, possesses extensive experience in financial management within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as Financial Controller at Shred-Tech® since June 2020, Bruce previously held the same title at Southwest United Canada, PCC Aerostructures Division from June 2018 to June 2020, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with SOX requirements. Prior roles include Senior Financial Accountant at the same division from September 2015 to June 2018, Accounting Manager at Conestoga Meat Packers Ltd from October 2011 to May 2015, and Accounting Supervisor at Cargill from October 2002 to October 2011. Bruce began the accounting career as an Audit Manager at Hyde Houghton/BDO Dunwoody Chartered Accountants and has held various positions since starting as an Accountant at Vanparys Miccahi Shippey & Warnick Chartered Accountants in 1999. Bruce holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy Studies from the University of Waterloo and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario since 2014 as well as the Certified General Accountants of Ontario.
