Rupa has over 23 years of work experience with subject matter expertise in credit risk management across retail lending products like mortgages, personal loans and credit cards. She has worked with Citibank India for over 16 years, handling various roles across retail assets and liabilities, post which she spent 3 years in the India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation Pvt Ltd. as one of the key members of the senior leadership team that launched the mortgage guarantee product in India. Rupa is a chartered accountant by qualification and has apprenticed with Price Waterhouse. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics honours with Mathematics and Statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
