Marc Oursin has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the retail industry. Marc served as the CEO of Shurgard Self Storage from 2012, prior to which they held the position of President at SPORT 2000 France from 2010 to 2011.
Before that, Marc Oursin held multiple CEO positions at Carrefour, including CEO Carrefour Belgium from 2006 to 2009, CEO Carrefour Taiwan from 2003 to 2006, CEO Carrefour Korea from 2001 to 2003, CEO Carrefour Thailand from 1999 to 2001, and CEO Erteco (hard discount) from 1995 to 1999.
Marc Oursin obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in international food business from ESSEC Business School in 1986. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at AgroParisTech from 1982 to 1985, earning a degree in engineering with a field of study focused on consumer goods manufacturing.
