Jason B. is an experienced information technology security professional with a strong background in governance, risk management, and compliance. Currently serving as the Information Technology Security Manager at The Shyft Group since October 2021, Jason previously held the position of Risk and Compliance Manager at Aptiv, where responsibilities included managing the GDPR program. Jason's expertise extends to serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Merit Network, developing risk assessment programs, and holding key security roles in the State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget. In addition to substantial industry experience, Jason has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at Lansing Community College, teaching courses on the Linux/UNIX operating system. Jason holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from Ferris State University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Central Michigan University.
