Massimo Fierro

Massimo Fierro is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading teams and developing innovative solutions. Currently serving as Team Lead for the Infrastructure Team and Head of the IT Asset Management Department at SI Analytics since November 2022, Massimo has spearheaded the development of a new satellite image annotation platform, emphasizing high performance and adherence to OGC standards. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Information Officer and Data Engineer at One Asset Management, as well as Head Developer at GHR Investment Management, where Massimo focused on trading solutions and infrastructure development. Academic contributions include serving as an Assistant Professor at Catholic University of Daegu and a Ph.D. student specializing in image processing at Kyungpook National University. Massimo holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, along with a combined BS and MS in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano.
