Patrick Mortel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the IoT Director at SICAME Group since May 2018, Patrick oversees a full range of sensors for SmartGrid applications. As a co-founder of GT Car Club, established in September 2020, Patrick focuses on services related to exceptional vehicles. Patrick is also the Founder and CEO of VienTech SAS, a consulting firm in the energy domain, and previously served as the COO and founder of eeSmart SAS, a device manufacturer for energy transition solutions. Prior roles include Smart Metering & Smart Grid Marketing Director and Product Manager at Itron, as well as leading the Smart Metering division at Groupe Cahors. Patrick Mortel holds an engineering degree in Instrumentation Technico-Commerciale from Polytech Lille, attained between 1987 and 1990.
