Dirk Eyfrig

Dirk Eyfrig has extensive experience in the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and hardware design support, currently serving as Senior Director Global Hardware Design Support at SICK since November 1997. Eyfrig has held various leadership roles, including Head of Hardware Design Support and Manager of EMC Services and PCB Design. Since 2010, Eyfrig has contributed to the International Electrotechnical Commission as Chair of SC 77B and as a member of several working groups focused on immunity tests and EMC standards. Eyfrig's involvement in ZVEI e. V. includes positions such as Chairman of the AG EMV and Deputy Chairman, while also holding key roles in DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. and ETSI. Eyfrig began a career in EMC at Montena technology, leading the establishment of an EMC lab in Freiburg, following a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology obtained in 1995.
