Michael Helou is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and investment banking. Currently serving as Group Chief Strategy Officer at Dar Group since November 2014, Michael previously held roles such as Head of FIG for the Middle East and North Africa at Barclays Capital from May 2010 to May 2013, and Head of Investment Banking for the Middle East at Rothschild from January 2000 to May 2010. Earlier in Michael's career, a managerial position was held at Andersen within the Privatisation and Emerging Markets Group from January 1995 to January 2000. Michael Helou holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
