Nikhil Desai

Nikhil Desai is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Sidepilot since June 2024, Nikhil focuses on delivering AI-powered solutions to enhance the fitness industry. Prior to this role, Nikhil held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Mentorcam from September 2023 to April 2025, promoting mentorship opportunities with prominent industry leaders. Nikhil also contributed significantly at Earnest as Head of Product Engineering from October 2019 to June 2023, and at Modal as Head of Engineering where efforts were dedicated to optimizing e-commerce for the automotive sector. Other notable positions include VP of Engineering at CNote, Senior Software Engineer at Lending Club and Citrix Systems Inc., and Software Engineer at various organizations, including NXTV, Inc. and Citi. Nikhil holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's in Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
