Rene Raasted

Rene Raasted serves as the Global Head of Payroll at Siemens Energy since January 2024. Prior to this role, Rene accumulated extensive experience at Vestas, where tenure spanned from October 2006 to January 2024, culminating as Vice President of Global People Services. In this role, Rene led a global HR shared services team of over 130 employees across 16 countries, delivering services to more than 30,000 employees in 70 countries. Rene's responsibilities included overseeing regional HR operations in Asia Pacific and North America, directing global payroll outsourcing initiatives, and managing the implementation of HR processes via SuccessFactors for 25,000 employees. Earlier positions included roles at Arla Foods and Region North Jutland, focusing on HR project management and data analysis. Rene holds a Master's degree in Economy, Politics, and Administration from Aalborg University, earned in 1999.
