Andreas Gotfredsen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience at Siemens Gamesa since September 2010, currently serving as the Nacelle Module Chief Engineer, where responsibility encompasses the overall technical aspects of offshore and onshore nacelles in technology. Prior roles include Head of Offshore Nacelle and R&D, managing a department of 113 engineers across Denmark and India, and various team leadership positions overseeing nacelle design and analysis, emphasizing mechanical design, structural integrity, and project management. Andreas holds an M.Sc. in Applied Mechanics from the University of Aarhus and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Engineering College of Aarhus, complemented by early experience as a Service Technician in farming and as an engineering trainee.
