Michael Stiglitz has a diverse work experience, starting in 1990 when they joined the US Navy as a Navy Supply Chain Manager. Michael worked in various roles within the Navy, including as a Comptroller, Logistics, Human Resources, Budget and Policy Planner, Commanding Officer of a logistics organization, Deputy Commander of a logistics and training organization, and Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics. In these positions, they managed logistics operations, directed port terminal operations, and provided policy direction and program management for logistics functions. Michael also led a team responsible for accounting and finance functions.

After leaving the Navy, Stiglitz worked as a Tax Associate at BDO USA, LLP for a year before joining Alion Science and Technology as a Program Manager from 2017 to 2018. Michael then worked at Main Sail, LLC as a Project Manager from 2019 to 2020, where they were responsible for conducting an industrial analysis and modeling and simulation for optimization efforts at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. Currently, Stiglitz works at Siemens Government Technologies as a Services Project Manager, where they are involved in delivering modeling and simulation projects to increase naval readiness through informed investments.

Michael Stiglitz earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business) in 1990. In 1996, they obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business. Additionally, they completed the Columbia Senior Executive/Advanced Management Program (Class 132) at Columbia Business School in 2012.
