Prasanth Ramalingam

Prasanth Ramalingam is a highly experienced engineer specializing in advanced catheter manufacturing and extrusion processes. Currently serving as a Senior Advanced Catheter Manufacturing Engineer at Siemens Healthineers since September 2023, Prasanth previously held key positions at Medtronic from October 2014 to September 2023, including Engineering Manager and Materials Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed equipment qualifications, process validations, and new product developments. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Engineer at Pexco, and internships at Medtronic, Celanese Engineered Materials, and various organizations focusing on process development and material characterization. Prasanth holds a Master’s degree in Engineering - Plastics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor's degree in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology from Anna University Chennai.
