Brad Hensley

Brad Hensley is a senior mechanical engineer currently leading mechanical systems at Sierra Space, where responsibilities include directing a team of engineers, mentoring colleagues, and developing innovative mechanisms for space stations. Prior experience includes serving as a crewmember for NASA's Human Exploration Research Analog (HERA) mission, providing critical data for future long-duration space missions. At Redwire Space, Brad specialized in deployable spacecraft mechanisms, contributing to engineering team efforts, stakeholder engagement, and fostering a diverse company culture. Brad holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus in Bioastonautics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Biology from Rhodes College.
