Brian Harrington

Brian Harrington is a highly experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer currently working at Sierra Space since June 2021. Previously, Brian held the same title at Sierra Nevada Corporation's Space Systems Group from January 2009 to June 2021 and served as Engineering Manager at SpaceDev from January 2006 to January 2009. Brian's engineering career began at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where significant contributions were made, including roles as Mechanical Design Engineer for the Mars Pathfinder Mission and Cognizant Engineer on several critical Mars missions, including the Mars Exploration Rovers and Mars Phoenix Lander. Brian also held key positions at Starsys Research and in various capacities for space-related projects. Brian earned a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
