Speed Franklin

Speed Franklin is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Sierra Space since August 2024. Franklin has held various engineering roles, including Senior Software Engineer at Advion Interchim Scientific (February 2022 - September 2024) and Software Engineer at Universal Instruments Corporation (October 2020 - July 2022), contributing to the development of software for precision electronics manufacturing. Additionally, Franklin has served in the US Navy Reserves as a Lieutenant Junior Grade since February 2021, managing personnel and logistics in a drilling unit. Previous experiences include software engineering positions at Corning Incorporated and IHS Markit, along with roles in programming support and supervision in diverse environments. Franklin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Pre-Medical Studies from Tufts University, earned between 2008 and 2012.
