Steve Huppman

Steve Huppman is a seasoned aerospace professional currently serving as the Principal Systems Engineer and Systems Engineering Lead at Sierra Space since June 2021. Prior to this role, Steve worked at Sierra Nevada Corporation where contributions included leadership in systems engineering for the Dream Chaser program, focusing on software, hardware-software integration, and compliance with NASA requirements. Steve also has experience as a Senior System Engineer for Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) and has held roles at David Clark Company as a System Engineer in space suit development and at MEI Technologies as a Project Manager overseeing hardware certification for the International Space Station. Steve's academic background includes a Master of Science in Project Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
