Carsten Gosvig

Carsten Gosvig is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and ASIC design. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at SiFive since June 2018, Carsten focuses on developing a debugging software stack for RISC-V targeting embedded application programming. Prior to this role, Carsten held significant positions at Oticon A/S from September 2002 to May 2018, including Workflow & Developer Tools Software Architect, where domain-specific languages for hearing aid technologies were created, and Embedded Software Architect & ASIC Designer, contributing to RTOS and software tools development. Earlier career highlights include roles at Avanticore, Zucotto Wireless, Cisco Systems, Cocom, and Microlex Systems, where Carsten specialized in ASIC design and software development. Carsten holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and completed a course in Compiler Construction.
