Jaehoon Heo

Jaehoon Heo currently serves as a Principal Application Engineer at SiFive since July 2023. Previously, Jaehoon held the position of Audio Performance Architect at GOODIX Technology INC. from January 2020 to January 2024, focusing on audio DSP software and hardware co-optimization. Jaehoon’s extensive experience includes roles as a DSP Engineer at Apple (July 2015 - September 2020), Principal Design Application Engineer at Cadence Design Systems (April 2013 - July 2015), and Sr. Audio Application Engineer at Tensilica (February 2012 - April 2013), among others. Notably, Jaehoon worked as a DSP Principal Engineer at Conexant Systems, Inc. and has also held engineering positions at Audyssey Laboratories, Texas Instruments, and Motorola Inc. Jaehoon began professional work as a DSP engineering contractor at ASTEL Inc., contributing to the completion of an AAC LC stereo decoder. Jaehoon Heo holds both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Pohang University of Science and Technology, completed in 1993.
