Jeffrey Chalmers has over 30 years of experience in the finance industry. Jeffrey started their career as a Senior Manager at Price Waterhouse in 1985 and then moved to Accelgraphics as a Controller in 1997. Jeffrey then became the Controller at Whisper Communication in 1998, followed by Director of Finance at Sequence Design in 1999. In 2002, they joined Digital Fountain as Director of Finance and then moved to LogicVision, Inc. as Corporate Controller in 2003. In 2005, they joined Geeknet, Inc. as VP, Corporate Controller, where they designed weekly and monthly KPI dashboards, acted as CFO during transition, and developed high level models to forecast Media business yields. In 2011, they joined Silicon Valley Accountants as President, Financial Effectiveness Team Leader, and in 2019 they became VP Finance and Operations at Sight Machine.
Jeffrey Chalmers obtained a BS in Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand between 1980 and 1983. In 1989, they obtained a CPA (Inactive) certification from the State Board of Accountancy. In 2017, they obtained a CSM certification from the Scrum Alliance.
