Prior to that, they held several roles at Zain, including MD, ICT Sector, A/CEO & Chief Operating Officer, Chief Regional Operations Officer, and Chief Information Officer from August 2006 to January 2014. Khaled started their career as the Director of Information Systems at Ooredoo Algerie from March 2004 to July 2006.

Khaled Khorshid holds a Master's degree in Coaching & Consulting for Change (MCCC) from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, as well as a Master's degree in Coaching and Consulting for Change (MCCC) from HEC Paris. Khaled also has an MBA from Wayne State University and a BSBA in Management Information Systems from Bowling Green State University. Khaled obtained their high school diploma in Mathematics from College de la Salle. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as the 5-Day Digital Business Transformation Challenge from CXO Transform, the Project Management Professional certification from PMI, and the Systems Engineer certification from Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
