John Koumentis is a data scientist currently employed at Signal since October 2021, previously holding roles at Microsoft from July 2020 to October 2021 as a Support Engineer and Automation Solutions Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as an Automation Solutions Engineer at Softomotive from December 2017 to July 2020. John's academic background features a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras (2010-2016) and a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos" (2020-2022). Currently, John is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Piraeus, expected to be completed in 2027.
