In traditional reinsurance business we focus in particular on mutual insurance companies. Our cedants also include direct insurers of all sizes and ownership structures. We offer reinsurance solutions both in traditional and customised ways. Our core business focuses on standard lines of business. In the special segment we write marine, agricultural and cyber risks. In the convergence market we deliberately focus on the Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) segment. This enables SI Re to invest selectively in natural catastrophe risks without relying on long-lasting client relationships, thus adding to the stability of its traditional reinsurance portfolio.
