Christopher Samanns

Christopher Samanns serves as President of Signal Peak Silica LLC since February 2019. Prior to this role, Christopher held multiple positions at Preferred Sands from March 2013 to February 2019, including Senior Vice President of Operations, where responsibilities encompassed managing plant operations, logistics, supply chain, sales, and P&L management for a portfolio of silica sand processing plants. Other roles at Preferred included Vice President of Product Strategy, Product Director, Director of Supply Chain, and Order Fulfillment Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as Inventory Control Supervisor at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., overseeing a team and managing a substantial inventory. Christopher began their career as a Builder/General Contractor at Samanns Construction. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Delaware Valley University.
