Scott Petty

General Partner at Signal Peak Ventures

Scott is a founding partner and Managing Director of Signal Peak Ventures. Prior to forming Signal Peak, Scott co-founded vSpring Capital in 2000 as a Managing Director. Previously, Scott was COO and a Board Director of Zuka Juice, a retail organization selling nutritional products that was acquired by Jamba Juice, a venture-backed competitor. Before that, Scott was a consultant with Bain & Company for several years.

Notable investments Scott has led include Fetch, Booker (acquired by mindbody), Keap (FKA Infusionsoft), Chatbooks, comScore (NASDAQ: SCOR), Control4 (public exit), ExpertVoice, MediConnect (acquired by Verisk Analytics (NASDAQ: VRSK)), and Cerberian (acquired by Blue Coat Systems).

Scott grew up in Palo Alto but likes the skiing better in Salt Lake City. He enjoys cycling the Wasatch canyons and traveling with his wife and three children. Scott received a BS in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
