Michael Izquierdo is a seasoned professional in the entertainment industry with extensive experience as a founder, actor, and voice-over artist. Since January 2006, Michael has led Sunnyside Films Inc., producing feature films and popular internet content. As an actor for Signature Theatre Company, Michael portrayed John Cranston in "The Liquid Plain." Michael's narration skills have been featured on National Geographic's "Doomsday Preppers" and "Naked Science," among various specials, as well as on SundanceTV and NBCUniversal projects, earning recognition with a Voice Arts Award in 2014. Additionally, Michael has directed commercials and collaborated with agencies such as Paradigm Talent Agency and Cornerstone Talent Agency. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Acting from New York University and a BA in English from Williams College.

Founded in 1991, Signature Theatre celebrates playwrights and gives them an artistic home, producing a body of work by each resident writer and a season of six to eight productions annually. In 2005, Signature began its groundbreaking Signature Ticket Initiative, providing affordable tickets to every production. In 2012, Signature opened the Pershing Square Signature Center, the Frank Gehry-designed 75,000 square foot Center featuring three theatres, two rehearsal studios, a central, public lobby with a café and bookstore, and administrative offices. In 2014, Signature became the first New York City theatre to receive the Regional Theatre Tony Award®.
