Stephen Cumpson

Stephen Cumpson is a legal professional specializing in intellectual property, currently serving as Senior IP Counsel at Signify since May 2018. Prior to this role, Stephen worked as IP Counsel at Philips Lighting from February 2016 to May 2018, and held dual positions as IP Counsel and Senior Scientist in Storage Systems at Philips Intellectual Property & Standards from January 1996 to February 2016. Stephen holds a BSc/MEng/PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Manchester, where studies were completed between 1988 and 1995.
