Ton van Deursen

Ton van Deursen is an accomplished security expert with extensive experience in the field of IT security. Currently serving as the Lead Development Engineer for Product Security at Signify since March 2016, Ton focuses on developing secure connected lighting solutions within the IoT Security group. Prior to this role, Ton worked as a Senior Security Consultant at Secura from November 2011 to February 2016, where responsibilities included conducting various technical IT security assessments and participating in agile design teams. Additionally, Ton has research experience from the University of Luxembourg, where a Ph.D. in Computer Science was pursued from 2007 to 2011. Earlier career experiences include a trainee position at ING in 2009 and an internship at Philips Research from 2006 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
