Ferit Buyukkececi's work experience includes serving as the Chief Technology and Data Officer at Sigortam.net since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Analytics Expert and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from June 2020 to May 2021, and as a Data Scientist from January 2018 to June 2020. Ferit also held the position of Senior MTS, Algorithms & Software at Maxim Integrated from December 2015 to January 2018. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead at GKFX from November 2014 to December 2015, and as a Software Engineer at Net Scientific from September 2013 to November 2014. Ferit started their career as a Design Engineer at TAI from October 2012 to September 2013, and as a Scientific Research Assistant at ETH Zurich from February 2011 to September 2011.
Ferit Buyukkececi completed their high school education at SEAL from 1997 to 2004. Ferit went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Boğaziçi University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Later, they attended the Technical University of Munich from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computational Science & Engineering. In 2010 and 2011, they also worked as an intern researcher at ETH Zürich, focusing on Computer Science.
