Karin Arar has been in the tech industry since 2009. Karin began their career as an Electronic and Communication Engineer at Electronic and Communication. In 2015, they became a Software Developer at NordicNeuroLab AS. In 2016, they held the same role at both Gexcon and NSD - Norwegian Centre for Research Data. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the role of Senior Engineer at Sikt - Kunnskapssektorens tjenesteleverandør.
Karin Arar obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Damascus University between 2009 and 2012. Karin then went on to obtain their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Damascus University between 2003 and 2008. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of Bergen (UiB) studying Information Technology.
